Policies and Procedures
After completion of Driver Education students can go to the DMV to take the written test for their permit. Apply online at: www.REALID.DMV.CA.GOV. Students must be 15 1/2 to receive their permit.
- When the permit is issued, please call our office to schedule the validation drive.
- The student’s permit is not legally valid until they complete their first validation and have their permit signed by a California DMV Certified Driving Instructor (or reaches age 17 1/2.)
- AFTER the student completes their first validation lesson with a certified driving instructor, they can drive with any license driver who is at least 25 years old. The licensed driver must sit in the front passenger seat where they can take control of the vehicle if necessary.
- Student’s MUST ALWAYS carry their original permit when driving (no copies or photos.)
- Students should get as much practice as possible between driving lessons, aiming for at least 3 hours per week.
- Photographs of students may be taken during lessons or events. If you prefer not to be included, please contact us at sanctifieddrivingschool@gmail.com to opt out.
Cancellation Policy:
Students must notify us at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled lesson to cancel or reschedule. Failure to provide 24-hour notice, forgetting your original permit, or not bringing required corrective glasses will result in a $50 cancellation fee. To avoid this fee, please ensure you have all necessary documents and items for your lesson, and notify us promptly if you need to make changes.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
